Art on the Coast May 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Come to the first annual Art on the Coast weekend May 2nd, 3rd and 4th. We are partnering with the North Coast Artist guild and the Salmon Creek ArtWalk to create an entire weekend of art events on the coast from Bodega Bay, Jenner, Sea Ranch and Gualala May 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
The main event will be Art on the Coast Art sale Sunday May 4th in Jenner by the Sea. This art exhibit and sale will benefit Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods. Sonoma Coast art scene is world class with artist specializing in a variety of media. During the event we will have live artist demonstrations that will be reordered and posted on You Tube and the sonomacoastart.com website. A dedicated webpage will list artist selected for event with links to their website and or email address.
The Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods have agreed to be the key non-profit sponsor of the event.
Richard Murphy owner of The Jenner Inn and Conference Center has agreed to donate his rental fee for the beautiful grotto space. Thank you Richard for your community pride.
Artist Selection Process:
We are limited the number of artist to keep it comfortable for all. We encourage you to apply early so we can gauge how many artist want to exhibit and sell their art. Please download and fill out the application form. You must submit by mail your application with a check and email or mail a photo sample of your work. Non-selected work will not be charge any fees for entering. If your work is not selected we will return your check. Space fee is $25 or a donated piece of art. We encourage artist to donate a piece of art for the silent auction. The auction will be held at a later date. For Art on the Coast artist will receive 25% of the auction art. Your artist profile and art will be profiled for the Art Silent Auction. Artist will receive 70% of any art they sale at the Art on the Coast event. The Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods will receive 20%. There will be 10% commission used to offset the cost for the event.

There will be a silent auction held later in the year. Artist who donate art to Art on the Coast will receive 25% of the auction sale. The Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods will receive 25% of the auction sale.
We are looking for submissions from illustrators for our Art on the Park poster. Artist selected for the poster will receive a cash prize and 20% of all poster and tee-shirt sales.
Art Awards & Cash Prizes
There will be three prizes awarded at the show. Public Choice award will be awarded to a single piece of art voted by the public. Artist Choice award will be awarded to a single piece of art voted by artists showing at the show. Best in Show will be awarded to a single piece of art that receive the highest votes from the public and artists. There is no jury fee to submit a piece of art. We will be marketing this to tourist as a must visit weekend to Sonoma Coast. We would love local wineries to come to the event, pour and share info about your wine and winery. We have limited tables dedicated to local growers so contact us early. We will provide you with a charitable contribution receipt.
